And the third is Extra Magic Time, which allows Disney Hotel guests to enter one or both Disney Parks before the official opening time under certain conditions.
It is also worth busting a myth: you do not always need a bus to get from the hotel to the park. Disneyland Paris officially indicates approximate walking times from several Disney hotels: for example, about 10 minutes from Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel, about 15 minutes from Disney Sequoia Lodge or Disney Newport Bay Club, and about 20 minutes from Disney Hotel Santa Fe. That being said, not all hotels fit everyone's needs. Let's go through the hotels one by one.
Disney Davy Crockett Ranch: independence, car, and tranquility
Disney Davy Crockett Ranch is probably the most overlooked accommodation at Disneyland Paris. Many people do not even consider it because it is not next to the parks and because you need a car. It does not have a direct free shuttle like other Disney hotels closer to the park, so it is not a convenient option if your idea is to get around without a vehicle.
But it also has very clear advantages. They are cabins or bungalows, offering more independence, a kitchen, living room, terrace, and nearby parking. For families traveling by car, wanting more space, or looking to save on breakfast and some meals, it can be a very interesting option.
Its great strong point is the tranquility. After an intense day at the parks, returning to a more secluded area, with a forest atmosphere and more privacy, can be very pleasant.
Its main drawback is obvious: every round trip to the park depends on a car. It is not the ideal hotel if you want to rest for a while in the middle of the day and return quickly.
Who it might be right for: families with a car, multi-night stays, travelers who value space, a kitchen, and tranquility.
Who we don't see it for: travelers without a car or those who want to be immersed in the Disney atmosphere right next to the parks.
Disney Hotel Santa Fe: the most budget-friendly option
Disney Hotel Santa Fe it tends to be the gateway for those who want to stay within the Disney bubble without blowing their budget. It is the simplest and most affordable Disney Hotel. It is themed around Cars, although the decor is quite basic. The rooms get the job done, but do not expect a premium experience or spectacular thematic design.
Its main advantage is clear: price. It allows you to enjoy the benefits of staying at a Disney Hotel while keeping your budget more under control. Walking distance to the parks is around 20 minutes according to official Disneyland Paris information for nearby hotels, although the truth is that it takes slightly less time and the walk is very pleasant if the weather is nice.
Its main drawbacks are that it lacks a swimming pool and the rooms are the most basic of the bunch. During certain times of the year, especially when the heat is on, it can also be a less comfortable option compared to higher-end hotels.
Who it might be right for: families who want to save money, travelers who will spend almost the entire day in the parks, and people who prioritize price over the hotel.
Who we don't see it for: those looking for a pool, more comfort, or a more special hotel experience.
Disney Hotel Cheyenne: value for money and heavy themed design
Disney Hotel Cheyenne tends to be one of the hotels that best fits many families. The difference compared to the Santa Fe is very noticeable in the feeling upon arrival. Here, it really feels like you are entering an authentic Wild West town. The Woody and Toy Story-inspired theme works very well, especially with children.
It is a large hotel, but being distributed across low-rise buildings, the experience is more pleasant and less massive. The distance to the parks is convenient, although somewhat greater than at the superior hotels. Being right in front of the Santa Fe, the walking distance is more or less the same, and the path goes through a pleasant area by the river.
Its main negative point is that it does not have a swimming pool. However, it does offer a very interesting value for money and a much stronger Disney feel than Santa Fe.
Who it might be right for: families with children, first-time trips to Disneyland Paris, travelers looking for strong thematic design and a good price.

Disney Sequoia Lodge: tranquility, swimming pool, and forest atmosphere
Disney Sequoia Lodge it is one of those hotels that does not always win in quick comparisons, but it captures the hearts of those looking for calm. After an intense and stimulating day at Disneyland Paris, arriving at a hotel with a forest atmosphere, wood accents, a fireplace, and cozy common areas can be just what you need.
It is closer than Cheyenne and Santa Fe. Disneyland Paris indicates about a 15-minute walk from Sequoia Lodge to the parks, but it can actually be done at a steady pace in less time. In addition, it features a pool, pleasant common areas, and a much more relaxed atmosphere. At Christmas, especially, it can be one of the most charming hotels due to its mountain, wood, and fireplace aesthetic.
Its main drawback is that, depending on the assigned room, you can walk quite a bit within the hotel itself, especially if you are in the annex buildings. You also always need to evaluate the price difference compared to the Cheyenne.
Who it might be right for: travelers looking for tranquility, families who value a pool, couples, trips in winter or Christmas.
Who we don't see it for: those who want to spend the absolute minimum or those who will not make use of the hotel at all.
Disney Newport Bay Club: lakeside elegance
Disney Newport Bay Club The style changes completely here. We go from the forest to a large, elegant, and highly visual nautical-inspired hotel, located next to Lake Disney. It is one of the resort's most prominent hotels and offers the feel of a grand resort complex.
The walking distance to the parks is similar to Sequoia Lodge: Disneyland Paris indicates about 15 minutes, although it can be done in less time. It features a pool, restaurants, and very striking common areas. It is an option that may appeal greatly to those looking for a more elegant experience, without reaching the price point of the Hotel Marvel or the Disneyland Hotel.
The downside is that it is a very large hotel. And if the price difference with Sequoia Lodge is high, it is not always worth it.
Who it might be right for: couples, families looking for a more elegant hotel, and travelers who value a pool and a great location.
Who we don't see it for: those who prefer cozier hotels or when the price spikes compared to Sequoia.
Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel: premium experience
Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel It is not just a superhero hotel. It is an art hotel with an aesthetic much more sophisticated than some might imagine. You do not need to be a Marvel fan to enjoy it. In fact, many people who are not particularly followers of superheroes end up greatly appreciating its design, rooms, restaurants, and premium atmosphere.
It is the closest Disney hotel to the parks after the Disneyland Hotel. Disneyland Paris indicates about a 10-minute walk. It features a pool, interesting restaurants, and a fantastic location. The major differential point is that the hotel becomes part of the experience, not just a place to sleep.
Its main drawback is the price. If you are not going to particularly value the hotel, you might not take full advantage of what it offers.
Who it might be right for: couples, Marvel fans, special celebrations, travelers looking for a premium experience and a great location.

Disneyland Hotel: the ultimate Disney dream
Disneyland Hotel is the most iconic hotel at Disneyland Paris. It is literally at the entrance of Disneyland Park. No other hotel offers that location. The official website itself presents it as a five-star royal residence at the entrance of Disneyland Park.
Following its major renovation, the hotel has become a luxury experience inspired by Disney royal stories. It is an elegant, exclusive hotel designed for those who want to live a very special experience.
Its greatest advantage is obvious: location, service, luxury, and a unique feeling of being inside the fairy tale.
Its biggest drawback as well: the price.
It is not the hotel we would choose when looking for the best value. It is the hotel you choose when you want to fulfill a dream, celebrate something important, or live an experience you will likely remember for a lifetime.
Who it might be right for: honeymoons, anniversaries, very special celebrations, and travelers looking for the most exclusive experience.
Who we don't see it for: tight budgets or trips where the hotel is not going to be an important part of the experience.
